U wilt zich verdiepen in de mogelijkheden die Ajax (Asynchroon JavaScript and XML) biedt voor webapplicaties. Met behulp van Ajax kunt u de gebruikerservaring van uw online applicaties een boost geven. Uw applicaties blijven interactief maar zonder dat u pagina's hoeft te herladen. Ajax is een combinatie van JavaScript, DHTML en XML.

Onderwerpen die onder andere aan bod komen zijn de basisprincipes van Ajax, DOM, objecten, Ajax combineren met Server-side programmatuur, JSON, webservices, XML feeds, troubleshooting en mashups.
