Training in Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy with Roger Gilchrist, author of the book, Craniosacral Therapy and the Energetic Body.
ROGER GILCHRIST, MA, RPP, RCST® is known for his work integrating holistic approaches into mainstream health care. Roger teaches energy medicine internationally, specializing in Polarity Therapy and Craniosacral Therapy. His experience as a psychotherapist, a registered polarity practitioner, and a registered craniosacral therapist has kept him involved in many cross-disciplinary ventures. A past vice president of the American Polarity Therapy Association, Roger has been teaching Polarity Therapy since 1982. Roger is an approved teacher with the Craniosacral Therapy Association of North America, having studied Craniosacral Biodynamics with its founder, Franklyn Sills. Many students consider him a master teacher. He is the author of the book Craniosacral Therapy and the Energetic Body and has published many articles on energy medicine. Roger is frequently an invited presenter for many groups, including APTA, AMTA, the American Counseling Association, and the National Institutes of Health.
In Holland Roger has been teaching since 2007 giving the full training twice. Since last year he has decided to give for the last the full training and train for that some of his student to give the basic teaching and then keep giving the more advanced seminar of the training himself. He has given then 2 introductory seminars last year and has trained Unmani M. Casalini to give an introduction 3 days seminar to allow students to attent at his last full training. This is a great opportunity to have profound teaching from the beginning on Craniosacral Biodynamic.
Unmani is trained since 1994 on craniosacral therapy at the Osho commune international (Pune – India) where she has worked as assistant teacher for few years and from 2000 gives basic courses on craniosacral. Since 2007 many associations in Holland accreditate the courses as post study.
In 2008 has started to follow the training with Roger, and the last year has assisted him during the introductory seminars. Roger has asked her to give introductory seminars to craniosacral biodynamics in Amsterdam to allow then people to go on following the full training with him.

The intention of this course is to provide a comprehensive overview of Craniosacral Biodynamics to experienced professionals who are already practicing in the fields of craniosacral therapy and osteopathy, and also for people that are new on Craniosacral Therapy. The Biodynamic approach in craniosacral therapy includes unique features in the work that often lead to greater clinical effectiveness. Craniosacral Biodynamics emphasizes fluid dynamics and energetic principles in the living system. Topics of this seminar include the inherent motion of the cerebrospinal fluid and entire body, facilitating stillpoints, and point of balanced tension skills for resolving inertial patterns that compromise health.

U bent welkom vanaf 17:30 uur op vrijdag avond. Les begint om 18:00 uur tot 21:00 uur.
In het weekend je bent welkom vanaf 09:30 uur, de lessen beginnen om 10:00 uur en eindigen om 17:00 uur.
De lestijden zijn inclusief 1 uur lunch pauze en 2 maal 15 minuten koffie/thee pauze.

Presence, Palpation, and Perception
Every craniosacral therapist must be able to recognize the different physiological actions of the dural membrane, osseous motion, and fluid dynamics. Different operational laws are at work at each of these levels of the system. Knowing this, the craniosacral therapist uses different skills appropriately to engage each level of the system in relation to its particular dynamics. Topics of this course include the reciprocal tension membrane, engagement skills of traction and compression, bony motion patterns, distinguishing between mobility and motility, and an emphasis on fluid fluctuation and the potency of the Breath of Life.
