After successful completion of the course, students will be able to: - discuss the WIN32 API, the WinMain function and the message loop - understand the MFC Class Hierarchy and the Document/View concept - handle messages at the appropriate places in an application - add resource based on dynamic menus - create custom dialogs, property pages and use the Common Dialogs, run these dialogs in modal and modeless mode - use basic, Common and ActiveX controls, discuss the basics of the Component Object Model - serialize the document object and the data it contains - select tools for debugging - implement multiple working threads
