This hands-on lab provides IT Professionals with a broad awareness and understanding of the new features and tools of Exchange Server 2007. After completing this Lab, students will be able to: • Install Exchange Server 2007 by using the graphical user interface (GUI). • Verify a successful Exchange Server 2007 installation. • Administer an Exchange Server 2007 organization using the Exchange Management Console. • Administer an Exchange Server 2007 organization using the Exchange Management Shell. • Create basic scripts to automate administrative tasks in an Exchange Server organization. • Create an Exchange Management Shell script to balance mailboxes across multiple mailbox databases. • Configure Exchange Server 2007 AutoDiscovery. • Perform a command-line installation of Exchange Server 2007. • Enforce compliance by creating an ethical firewall. • Administer a Client Access Server. • Use the new features of Microsoft Office Outlook Web Access (OWA). • Configure e-mail life-cycle policies. • Administer and use Local Continuous Replication to provide increased resilience in the event of disk failure.
