Citrix® MetaFrame® Secure Access Manager 2.2: Administration Update from Version 2.0 introduces learners familiar with Citrix MetaFrame Secure Access Manager 2.0 to the changes and enhancements provided in Citrix MetaFrame Secure Access Manager 2.2. CTX-1303AW presents a detailed comparison of changes to MetaFrame Secure Access Manager 2.0 technologies and components, including architecture, administration and management tools. The course describes changes such as the updated user interface, the ability to choose between an existing portal interface or the access center, and the ability to connect securely and remotely to Microsoft® Outlook® with synchronized access to all functions. The course also describes updates to two components of MetaFrame Secure Access Manager 2.2: Secure Ticketing Authority and Logon Agent. In addition, this course presents and explains installation of the new Advanced Gateway Client component. Learners also explore in-depth installation and configuration recommendations for the enhancements and changes to the MetaFrame Secure Access Manager 2.2. Finally, the course explains the administration and configuration tool, secure gateway configuration and firewall port configuration to ensure that learners are enabled to successfully deploy MetaFrame Secure Access Manager 2.2.
